The Hudson Valley is rapidly becoming a Tech Valley and more high technology companies are making their home here. In many ways, the original purpose of the TechCity site inspired it all since this was where IBM made billions of dollars worth of High Technology products.

Now the Valley has grown in many ways. Major recent announcements include the development of a new massive 300nm chip fabrication plant in IBM's East Fishkill campus ($3+ Billion US) and the announcement of the selection of the University of Albany for the SEMATECH project (see links on your right).
