Introduction

This section of the website covers the actual buildings and the services that are available. If you are prospective tenant, you should find most of what you are looking for. Actual floor plans (CAD files) are available securely via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) over the Internet at ftp.techcityny.com. They are no longer on the website for security purposes post 9/11. Call and speak to Don Wells or Claudine Heller to get password access. The items listed below are also important to certain tenants and are included here for thoroughness and do not have their own webpage.

Massive HVAC Capacity

TechCity provides mission critical cooling for your offices and data center equipment, as our central utility plant's chillers have the capacity to produce 9,800 tons of refrigeration for the campus. Chilled water is distributed to each building, providing a huge AC capability to tenant leased spaces. Supplemental AC exists in some areas; the facility can support as much additional supplemental AC in specific areas as required by any tenant, at a significantly lower cost then any other competitive site might offer.

Steam Demand

Our existing utility plant's systems capacity can provide 54,500 lbs. of steam per hour at rated pressure 150 psig. This equates to 19 BTU per square foot. The buildings are individually climate controlled for maximum comfort, energy conservation and utility savings.

Compressed Air Supply

The four compressors in the main system have a capacity of 1000-2100 SCFM. Air pressure is distributed throughout TechCity at 100 psig, delivered dry and oil free. The primary use is for control-air to the HVAC units and for superior humidification during the cooler months. Compressed air capacity can also support high-tech light manufacturing requirements at TechCity.

If there is anything that you think should be in this section but that you don't see, and that would help in your decision to lease space here, please don't hesitate to advise the webmaster at Website Feedback. Thank you.
