Dual Source Water Feeds - Our High Volume of Pure Water comes from the Catskill Mountains

There are two sources for domestic water. The primary water supply is from the City of Kingston which has a commitment to supply 1,000,000 gallons per day. This water comes from the same watershed area that supplies New York City and is extremely reliable and inexpensive (which is why NYC uses it). This is the exact opposite of the what you might find in other locations around the country, particularly when compared to, say for example, California, that have frequent water shortages. See the links on the right for a book about the history of it.

In the unusual and unlikely event of a prolonged disruption of water service, water is supplied by an eight (8") inch main connected to the Town of Ulster water system.

The fire protection system consists of two (2) 1500 GPM firepumps drawing water from a 250,000 gallon on-grade storage tank and a 12 inch city main. All buildings are fully protected by automatic sprinkler systems. A major fire station is less then 1 mile away.

Tenant Data Center operations that use chilled water to cool their computer rooms can expect excellant service, capacity and capability on the site. Please inquire for more details.

If you are a tenant whose manufacturing operations use large amounts of water, this site has the water supply, the redundant backup feed, and the largest practical system capacity for your use. This allows your business to free up working capital that would otherwise have to be invested in such a complex water system and to focus your capital on your core business. You can scale your business successfully without constant reinvestments in expanded water capacity that only your business can use.
